The ClickinLove dating site launch, scheduled for today, has been delayed by 2 weeks whilst the new Web 2 design is rolled out. As mentioned in the previous post, there are may benefits to a Web 2 style design and one of the most important is the use of AJAX for form submission and verification. I anticipate a fast site with a more interactive user experience. More freedom will be given to the way photos are displayed, titles and descriptions will be able to be added to members’ photos, browsing profiles will be more intuitive and navigation will be simpler. WAHM Confessions is an idea that Katy and I have wanted to bring to life for some time now. As WAHMs we love our jobs. However from time to time there are dirty little secrets we have about the adventure of working at home that we would never reveal to others.

We thought surely there must be other WAHMs that had secrets or hidden feelings they wanted to share as well. But would they be too afraid to share their confessions publicly? Then we came up with the perfect idea!

This is an exciting time for myself and my website. We are currently undergoing our final touches and preperation before our big launch. In particular the website has a few kinks to fix up but the signs at the moment are all positive.

 ”Thanks for the welcome but why am I reading this?” I hear you ask. Well a brief history is necessary. This site and this blog began when my business partner and I were looking for more opportunities on the web, in particular buying aged or established websites. Why we were looking for that in particular will be covered in future post but to stay on topic, whilst we were looking we became increasingly frustrated in the lack of quality trustworthy places to purchase an established website. So we decided to make one ourselves.

 There are two reasons for this; one is to provide a place to buy and sell websites for similar frustrated entreprenuers and the second one being a little more selfish, my partner and I will have first crack at any new website listed.

 So we have pretty much copied other websites and added a few bells and whistles. Not much of a beginning I know. But the beginning is the growth of a little known industry called website flipping. Which basically is the purchase of a website, sale at an inflated price. Its very much the same as renovating a house or a business with the sole purpose to make money through capital gains sale.

So keep one eye on this blog for more information as we will have more information, competitions and soon we will set up the Website Flipping School to create more budding entreprenuers. So check this spot once a week for more information.
